Both exams are open book, so have your own copy of the standard to hand along with highlighters, coloured markers and index tabs. We work through it together on screen, tabbing and indexing as we go, because in an open-book exam the pass mark goes to whoever can find the regulation fastest — not whoever remembers the most.
No special software to buy and nothing to install if you'd rather not — Zoom, Teams and Google Meet all run in a browser. We'll send the link and a short set-up note before your weekend.
Plenty of people come off the tools partway through — work dried up, the college course didn't fit, life happened. It doesn't cancel what you've already done. The 2365 Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas are opening next, and they're the natural place to pick the thread back up.

Zaiman covers the tuition stages. The NVQ and AM2 are completed through an approved centre and on site. 2391 isn't mandatory for the Gold Card itself, but most employers expect it for testing work, so it's worth doing on the way.

No. £119 and £149 cover two days of live online tuition. The exam is booked and paid for separately with the relevant awarding body.
No. Both 2382 and BS 5839-1 are knowledge-based exams with no practical assessment, which is exactly why they work so well taught live online.

Zaiman Electrical Academy is not an approved centre for City & Guilds, EAL or any awarding body, and isn't affiliated with them. We teach you; you book and sit the exam separately at an approved centre and pay their fee.
We teach with care and aim squarely at the exam, but your result depends on your own preparation and performance on the day. No one can honestly guarantee an outcome, so we don't.
Because you book online, you can normally cancel within 14 days for a full refund. If your course falls inside that window, we ask you to confirm at booking that you still want it to go ahead.
More than 7 days before: full refund or a free move to another date. Between 3 and 7 days: free move, or 50% back. Under 3 days or a no-show: no refund, though we'll usually offer a transfer.
Two days of live tuition, and nothing else. The exam fee goes to the awarding body, and you buy your own copy of BS 7671 or BS 5839-1 — we can't supply either.
Illness or a technical failure at our end means you get the next available date or a full refund, your choice. Please don't book time off or pay an exam fee until your place is confirmed.
